Matthew Taylor
As Managing Director, Matthew leads from the front and coordinates, with great empathy, the whole team.
Having extensive experience across the house building Industry over decades, he brings with him a wealth of experience that also included a 14 year stint in Australia as a luxury house builder.
Matthew is committed to the highest standards and these are applied across everything that is built by Ashgrove and where operational management, problem solving and solutions are his speciality.
Helen Thomas
Unlike other companies, we have our own in house legal team, very ably headed by Helen and ensuring we can deliver complex legal challenges swiftly and efficiently.
Helen has considerable experience and a structured, creative approach that is solution driven and sets her apart from many other Solicitors.
With experience working for the Authority for Wales, Eversheds and Capital Law as a Partner, her skill set is wide, varied, but especially focused on all aspects of development and brownfield redevelopment.
Steve Barley
With over 40 years of experience in commercial management and associated roles within the house building sector, Steve has developed a deep understanding of all aspects of the pre-contract process through to project completion. Applying core values of integrity, reliability and passion to every aspect of his work, he prioritises nurturing close working relationships with clients, striving to understand their needs and expectations to deliver solutions that satisfy all parties involved.
He is committed to delivering sustainable and cost-effective building solutions with a firm belief that the future of the industry depends on the ability to create structures that are both environmentally friendly and affordable, without sacrificing quality or functionality.
Nick Barratt
With 35 years of experience in the industry, Nick has been instrumental in leading successful schemes for both national housebuilders and regional builders. He plays a vital role in ensuring that projects, regardless of size, are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Nick’s expertise encompasses managing all aspects of the build, from coordinating the team within the business to collaborating with clients and the supply chain. His ability to motivate and develop his team has been key to delivering successful projects time and time again.
